The Build It Board is a vital accessory for implementing the Illume Reading 5 Step Process, in particular the Build It and Write It and Match It activities. Coupled with the Alphabet Magnets, students can construct focus words on the magnetic surface and engage in a range of tactile and kinaesthetic learning activities. Furthermore, the whiteboard allows them to practise writing focus words and letters and can be easily erased. The self-standing, double-sided pocket board features storage pockets and folds flat for easy storage. The reverse side of the board acts as a pocket chart, allowing focus words to be displayed, as well as providing a vertical surface for students to work with when matching word and sound cards.
